Auto update script needs to control every installation of FTT on server becouse all they use one shared db and in some updates may be changes in shared db. That's why auto-update script updates all copies at once and check permissions on all domains before that....

Hi Sersh,

you are right that the install for the first domain is in the index directory. But I will get the problem within update the second (all in ftt directory) installation but with file permission problem from first one.

It seems to me that the auto-update will control every installation on the server as well for all installation which are up-to-date. Maybe it is better to update each one instead of single installation.

Right now I will change the permissions before updating - that not so a bi...

Yes, that will be in FTT 2.0, but I can't give you now timeline for that. Busy with another project - rotator script with some unique features and tube sites support.
You can modify code if you want....

Hi,
Looks like you have tried to install ftt to your site index directory. That's not good practice. Better install in into ftt directory and set appropriate permissions only for that directory. Actually, after installation you can set it 644. Only when you update your script you should set it back to 777, update and can set back to 644....

Hello,

first of all I use AT3 for longer time and I will test FTT since some days. In general I would say FTT works much better for SKIM, Force/Capped, and some other stuff. But I miss the nice printout of the traders like as AT3 has the possibility to define the cols in the template section and the possibility to define a color for the trader.

As I am a programmer I would ask if there is any solution to define self written templates for output stats/output lists like as it is possible for the toplist...

Hello,

I have installed FTT on one domain, done each update and added added some files around like index.php, some new directorys for different use. After I had finished the work I was thinking about to see how the "shared database" will work if FTT is installed on more than one domain.

After a successfull installation on the second domain I was going to the "maintaince / Auto Update" section but will get several errors like this :

/directory/1stdomain/robots.txt is not writable!
/directory/1stdom...

Right line:
*/2 * * * * cd /usr/local/apache/sites/client926 ylonfreeporn.com/htdocs/ftt/secure/; /usr/bin/php cron.php >/dev ull;
/usr/bin/php may be need to be replaced with /usr/local/bin/php. Depends on your system.
Type in shell:
whereis php
to find exact location of php executable....

Yes, as soon as I do a manual cron I can access the galleries for a few seconds, so it must be the cron. I put

* * * * * cd/usr/local/apache/sites/client926 ylonfreeporn.com/htdocs/ftt/secure/; cron.php >/dev ull;

I can't check if this is right or not as the original path is given on the post-installation page which I no longer have. Do I have to delete my installation and start again from scratch?

Thanks for all your help....
